Spiral Ski Cap
It's still a bit early to be thinking of cold weather where I live, but I am sure that before we know it, fall will be on its way! Regardless of the weather, hats are great projects to make for gifts and tend to take less concentration than larger patterns.
This hat is quite easy to knit. It uses a simple cable to get the spiral effect, so if you are new to cable knitting, this pattern will be great to get in some practice.
When I started designing this hat, I had this spiraled pattern in mind, but I didn't know that the yarn would also spiral so well! It was just meant to be. There are tons of other color combinations in this yarn as well if you like how the coloring turned out.
For this hat, I used one skein of Luna Paints by Cascade in Pool Party.
