Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy on all domestic yarn orders. A $8 restocking fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.

We do not offer returns on international yarn orders or digital patterns.

To be eligible for a return, yarns must be unused and in the original condition with the label still attached. We reserve the right to refuse any returns that show signs of use. 

Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date your order was marked delivered. If 30 days have passed since your delivery, we can’t offer you a return.

There are certain situations where refunds on returns will not be granted:

  • Yarn with signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

 

Submitting a Return

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@originallylovely.com. Please include receipt or order number. 

Returns will need to be sent to the following address: 8100 Oxbow Creek Dr, Brooklyn Park MN 55445

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items 

Returns are not accepted on any digital file including: knitting patterns, crochet patterns, PDF files, digital downloads, etc.

Sale items are not eligible for returns. Only regular priced items may be returned and refunded.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer returns on international purchases.


Exchanges

We are unable to offer exchanges on merchandise.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
