Chunky Knit Shawl
Until recently, I was never interested in knitting shawls and wraps. Luckily, I am no longer ignorant of the beauty of shawls and the limitless possibilities they present.
This knitting pattern is meant to teach the basic technique to knit a triangle shawl. I designed this pattern to use chunky yarn to knit quickly and make a shawl that is perfect for cold weather. Once it is knit up, it is basically like being wrapped in a blanket.
For this shawl, I used Deborah Norville Active Serenity Yarn in White and Dark Grey. Any chunky yarn will do, but I chose this yarn not only because it is so beautiful and soft, but it is affordable as well.
The possibilities when making a shawl are endless, and different yarn or textures can show up so beautifully.
I hope that you enjoy this pattern. Happy knitting!
