Pima cotton is softer than conventional cotton with longer fibers that are more resistant to pilling and ‘fuzz’. It has excellent drape, show-stopping stitch definition, and a crisp, cool hand.
Pima is suitable for a wide range of projects, working especially well for warm weather garments, baby items, and home decor.

Knitting Gauge
18-22 stitches = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on sizes US 6 – 8 (4.0-5.0 mm) knitting needles
Crochet Gauge
12-16 stitches = 4 inches in single crochet on sizes US 7 – I/9 (4.5-5.5 mm) crochet hooks
Because our yarns are made using natural fibers, they work well for a wide range of gauges. As always, be sure to gauge swatch to assure proper size of your finished item.
Pima is a natural, pima cotton yarn. Because of this, special care is necessary when washing.
For best results, machine wash gentle using a mild soap. Lay flat to dry. Do not bleach or iron.
