In this pattern, you will need to know how to: knit, purl, work the provisional cast on method, knit i-cords, and feel confident following written instructions.
- Originally Lovely Fluff Yarn (shown in the color Taffy)
5 balls / approx 615 yards / 225 grams - Size US 8 (5.0 mm) circular knitting needles - 24” or longer, for main portion of scarf
- Size US 8 (5.0 mm) double pointed needles - to work i-cord fringe
- Stitch markers
- Tapestry needle to weave in ends
12 sts and 33 rows = 4” (10cm) in fisherman's rib stitch using size US 8 needles. Blocked, knit flat.
This knitting pattern will create a chunky scarf that is approximately 12” (40.5 cm) wide and 75” (106.5cm) long excluding fringes.
