Rhea Sweater Knitting Pattern

Hello knitters!  Today, I am sharing my latest knitting pattern:  the Rhea Sweater!   Rhea Sweater Knitting Pattern stripe detail Rhea Sweater Knitting Pattern smiling photo Rhea Sweater Knitting Pattern smiling side Rhea Sweater Knitting Pattern hanging photo   I put together this color palette using Lion Brand Jeans and Lion Brand Jeans Colors yarn last fall and just knew I had to make something special with it!  I played around with different stripe patterns and color work styles until I came to this beautiful pattern! Stripes are so fun to knit, it makes it feel like you are working so fast because you can see each row and each stripe develop!  If you weave in ends while you go its even better 🙂   Rhea Sweater Knitting Pattern shoulder and neckline detail   There were a couple parts of this sweater design that made it take a bit longer than planned.  First of all, I wanted to be sure that the stripes ended and began in a good place for each size.  The necklines, hemlines, and cuffs all end in a good spot so that you don’t have two back-to-back colors when you begin work the ribbing or neckband.  Second, I wanted to be sure to get the neckline just right so that each stripe was still the same width!  This sweater was frogged quite a few times before I got it just right!!   Rhea Sweater Knitting Pattern hemline and sleeve detail   While I love these colors, I know that some of you might have other stripes in mind!  This sweater will not disappoint you and you can be sure the finished product will be something you are proud of with a beautiful stripe layout! This sweater is available in 7 sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, 2X, 3X Finished Chest/Bust Circumference: 36, (40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60)” Length from Underarm to Bottom Edge: 15.5, (15.5, 15.5, 16.25, 16.25, 16.25, 16.25)” Sleeve Length from Cuff to Underarm: 17.5 (17.5, 17.5, 18.25, 18.25, 18.25, 18.25)” This sweater is designed for a relaxed, regular fit. For best results, choose a size that is 4-6” larger (4-6” of positive ease) than your corresponding body measurements. For example, model is wearing size S, has a bust measurement of 34” so she is wearing this sweater with 6” of positive ease.
